Role of love in peace of mind!

U Can Achieve Peace of M!nd Through forgiveness,Joy & Sorrow which Are main Parts of Love......

The following seven virtues can facilitate forgiveness and the desired peace of mind:

i) Love. This means that you are concerned, and interested in other people’s welfare. You love indiscriminately; you love both the unloved and the unlovable. Love serves rather than being served. God loves you inspite of who you are.

ii) Believe in the brotherhood of mankind. Man (used in the generic sense) is created in the image of God. Therefore, you need to respect your fellow man irrespective of race, culture, color, religion, geographical location or status in the society.

iii) Speak the truth. Let your ‘yes’ be ‘yes’ and your ‘no’ be ‘no’. In Revelation 21:8 the Bible states that no liar will enter into the kingdom of God. So, in domestic and non- matters be a man of your words. In business under-promise, but over-deliver. Mean what you say, and say what you mean.

iv) Put yourself in other’s position. Do to others as you would want them to do to you.

If you don’t like slander, don’t slander others; if you don’t like to be defrauded, don’t defraud others; and if you don’t like backbiting, don’t backbite or gossip others. Neither should you encourage, abet or condone these vices.

v) Learn to forgive. The Bible teaches on the need to learn how to forgive. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for him/her to apologise, so that both of you would resolve the issue there and then.

In case the reconciliation fails at this level, then go to the next level. This involves inviting at least two people to intervene in the matter. If the offending partner remains stubborn, then report the matter to the church leadership. If the offending partner still proofs to be irreconciliable, the Bible admonishes that he should be treated as an unbeliever. The need to follow all this grievance resolution procedure is to ensure peace (of mind) at all cost.

vi) Pay back what you owe.The scriptures discourage being a debtor. Therefore, you should live within your income.states that a borrower is servant to the lender. Anything God cannot give you, you should not desire it, much less borrow it. Failure to heed this injunction can result in undue stress, worry, anxiety, hypertension or other emotional disturbances.

vii) Identify with others in their moments of joy and sorrow.

You need to be sympathetic and empathic. Be involved in other people’s affairs as much as practicable especially when invited. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and commiserate with the bereaved; support the widow, orphan, the elderly and the sick.

It pays to forgive, and forget. Apart from the peace of mind which forgiveness gives, it also makes one to be at peace with God. Some benefits include:

..................

....................................

..Ability to pray without any hindrance.

..Longevity. According to medical experts, those who harbor hatred, bitterness or rancour age faster, because their bodies consume more energy that those who do not.

..If you forgive others, you can be sure of God’s forgiveness of your sins too.

..Forgiveness removes the burden of guilt, and enhances a clear conscience.

Forgiveness may be difficult but it is not impossible. It only requires a deliberate effort to do this. If you desire it and consciously work towards it, you will find it easy to achieve, and enjoy your peace mind.

What is Love !!

Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my husband"). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person.

Love..
I ReMeMBeR growing up with sTaRs in my eyes and LoVe songs ringing through my ears. Slowly my DreaMs grew bigger and I started waiting for my Prince Charming to come along and take me with him to a BeauTiFuL land where we would be surrounded by servants, good clothes, flowers and jewelry. One day I realized the TruTH about LoVe...that it was much more than material comforts and gains.

Love is Sharing
Believe me when I say that this is one of the most important ingredients of love. It is important to open ones heart and share – pain, joy, success and failure, it really does not matter, as long as the heart is clear. Love is being honest and knowing that the other person feels the same way too, it is sharing and losing ones inhibitions and knowing that the person on the other side will never be judgmental.

Love is Talking
Yes, love is talking. It is about speaking, telling and sharing. After some time people restrict their conversations to discussing bills, children and pets. This is a sure indicator of things going down hill.

Love is Spending Time Together
A few minutes spent together everyday keeps the boredom away. I just made this up right now, but it is because I feel there is nothing like time invested in a relationship…believe me, it pays! Heavy work schedules take up much time and effort, so it is important to get things into perspective.

Love is Faithfulness
To love means to be true, to love unconditionally means to give with all your heart to one, and only one. Love is when you realize that he/she is the best thing that has happened to you and you want to cherish that person and the moments spent with him/her till death do you part.

Love is Being Friends
Love is being friends with each other. Enjoying simple pleasures in life like shopping, catching a movie or watching television at home, apart from a host of other things that "Friends" normally do!
Love is Looking Together in the Same Direction
This may sound clichéd, but it is true…love is having the same goals and taking steps in that direction to make them come true.

Turn peace of mind into a habbit!!

Firstlly, You Think.....

What do you prefer, a restless, agitated mind or peace of mind? Do you enjoy tension and mental unrest or do you prefer a calm and peaceful mind?

Now m telling u how can we turn peace of mind into habbits.....

Peace of mind is conductive to better emotional and physical health, increased energy, stronger mental powers, improved memory and a better ability to learn and study. It also helps handling more efficiently the daily affairs of life, and stressful and difficult situations and circumstances.

Do you know that a stronger concentration ability brings deeper peace of mind, and a quiet mind strengthens the ability to concentrate? These two abilities are interconnected.

We live in a world where fear, strain and restlessness abound. You might think that there is nothing to do about it, and accept this situation as an inevitable evil, but you don't have to. You can experience inner peace even under stressful conditions and circumstances, but it does not come instantly. It is developed gradually through special training.

Just think how important it is for you. Become convinced of its importance, and decide to do something about it.

Study and practice concentration and meditation on a regular basis, and your inner peace will grow. Repeat affirmations about peace, and eventually your mind will accept them. Visualize peaceful circumstances, and envision yourself acting calmly in situations, which usually make you feel tense and nervous.

Daily practice will calm down your mind. This calmness will influence your inner being, your body, your circumstances and the people you meet. It will transform you into a peacefulness and calmness generator.

If you are afraid that peace of mind might make your life dull, uninteresting and boring, you do not have to worry about that. You can enjoy life with a peaceful mind. In fact you will enjoy it more, because you will experience calmness, happiness and inner strength. You will not feel threatened by anything. You will have constant inner joy.

You might need to give up some activities that agitate your mind, but the rewards are greater than the pleasure these activities cause you. When you start experiencing real peace, you will love and enjoy it. It will become more precious to you, than many other activities you loved and enjoyed until now.

You will be able to enjoy an action movie or a thriller, yet stay calm and relaxed. You will be able to enjoy a football game, while at the same time your mind is calm and unagitated. You will be able to enjoy food, physical exercises, your hobbies or anything else, without stress and strain.

Performing inner work, such as meditation and concentration, will ultimately turn peace of mind into a natural habit.

Think about all the anger, resentment, unhappiness, physical and mental tension, nervousness, strife and the waste of time and energy that results from lack of inner peace, and you will start to appreciate the importance of gaining real peace of mind......

Nobel Peace Prize The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually to notable peacemakers and visionaries who have overcome violence, conflict or oppression through their moral leadership, those who have "done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations". What's the meaning of peace

Peace... This is commonly understood as the absence of hostility, or the existence of healthy or newly-healed interpersonal or international relationships, safety in matters of social or economic welfare, the acknowledgment of equality and fairness in political relationships and, in world matters, peacetime; a state of being absent of any war or conflict. Reflection on the nature of peace is also bound up with considerations of the causes for its absence or loss. Among these potential causes are: insecurity, social injustice, economic inequality, political and religious radicalism, and acute racism and nationalism. Shalom, cognate with the Arabic "salaam", has multiple meanings: safety, welfare, prosperity, security, fortune, friendliness. The personalized meaning is reflected in a nonviolent lifestyle, which also describes a relationship between any people characterized by respect, justice and goodwill. This latter understanding of peace can also pertain to an individual's sense of himself or herself, as to be "at peace" with one's own mind attested in Europe from c.1200. The early English term is also used in the sense of "quiet", reflecting a calm, serene, and meditative approach to the family or group relationships that avoids quarreling and seeks tranquility — an absence of disturbance or agitation. Peace movement A peace movement is a social movement that seeks to achieve ideals such as the ending of a particular war (or all wars), minimize inter-human violence in a particular place or type of situation, often linked to the goal of achieving world peace. Means to achieve these ends usually include advocacy of pacifism, non-violent resistance, diplomacy, boycotts, moral purchasing, supporting anti-war political candidates, demonstrations... Pacifism Pacifism is the opposition to war or violence as a means of settling disputes or gaining advantage. Pacifism covers a spectrum of views ranging from the belief that international disputes can and should be peacefully resolved; to calls for the abolition of the institutions of the military and war; to opposition to any organization of society through governmental force (anarchist or libertarian pacifism); to rejection of the use of physical violence to obtain political, economic or social goals; to the condemnation of force except in cases where it is absolutely necessary to advance the cause of peace; to opposition to violence under any circumstance, including defense of self and others.
